RWA-Replacement of insulation on the pipe line at the Swinging Bridge crossing of the Zigzag River (end of Road 10)

In September 2014, RWA completed the Capital Improvement project of insulating the water main that crosses the Zigzag River adjacent to the Swinging Bridge.  The old wooden box (the previous insulation system) was removed and a new insulation system was installed starting September 18 and completed September 30.  The new insulation consists of a 3″ Glass Infused foam, wrapped with aluminum and sealed PVC. It is anticipated that this insulation will last for at least the next 50 years.

Water service was not interrupted at any time during this work.
